🧠 3 Idea Thursday

Social Sports Betting, Web Dev Lead Gen, and TV Mounting

Every week, I spend dozens of hours searching for the best business ideas.

Here are my favorites this week!

🧠 1: Social Sports Betting App

I’m in 2 separate group chats all about parlays and money lines. Oh, and I wouldn’t say I like sports… I don’t have a problem, YOU have a problem.

Here’s a secret - the best business opportunities lie where people are desperately piecing together makeshift fixes. In this case, it’s groups texts + screenshots of bets.

Rather than build a whole new betting platform, I’d integrate with existing solutions and act as the social front end tying them all together.

PS DraftKings and Fanduel have a combined market cap of over $50B. Someone is going to get rich off this idea.

🧠 2: GBP Web Design Leads

Timing the market is everything in business - and the time to pursue this is right now.

The idea here is simple:

  • In March, tens of thousands of businesses will need new sites.

  • Every Google Business Site ends with '.business.site

  • Build a tool that scrapes backlinks directing to ‘.business.site

You can either sell the leads to web dev agencies or reach out to get a client yourself.

🧠 3: TV Mounting Service

Simple businesses are like a nice pair of flip-flops: Are they sexy? No. But they’re easy to get into and will get you from point A to point B.

That’s all for this week. Please leave me feedback and let me know what you think!
