3 Idea Thursday

Every week, I spend dozens of hours searching for the best business ideas.

Here are my favorites this week!

🧠 1: Viral Video 🤝 News Outlets

Every day, a new video goes viral on some social platform.

News outlets want to share that content with their audiences.

How does that happen?

News outlets have teams of people manually reaching out to creators to get licensing rights to videos.

Huge pain in the ass.

There are a couple of ways someone could tackle this problem:

  • Unsexy way: Start an agency that acquires the right to sell licenses on behalf of the creators. You manage all the back and forth with news outlets and take a cut of the profits.

  • Sexy way: Create a self-serve marketplace connecting creators and news outlets. Creators upload their videos and news outlets can purchase the rights all via the platform.

A credit card too good not to talk about…

Robinhood is launching a new CC and it’s taking over the internet:

  1. 3% back on all purchases is INSANE

  2. 3% IRA match (that’s as much as you’d get at a FT job)

  3. No annual fees

To top it off - it looks so slick 🔥

🧠 2: Costco for X

Supplements are all the rage. Everyone (and I mean everyone) I know has at least 3 daily supplements in their routine.

The business behind supplements is pretty insane:

  • High profit margins

  • High customer repeat purchase/LTV

  • Very cheap to warehouse and ship

The challenge? It’s very competitive and highly saturated.

With the Costco model, you could offer most supplements at a fraction of the price (50% off or more).

This would create insane value for customers. A deal so good that you could break through the noise and get customers FAST.

🧠 3: Vacant Land Photos

Do I believe everything in this video? No.

Do I think this is a unique side hustle? Absolutely.

That’s all for this week. Please leave me feedback and let me know what you think!
